Cell Leader
SUMMARY:


Working as part of a team the Cell Leader oversees the Assembly process. The position monitors ongoing production tasks, production quantities and efficiencies, quality, safety and assures paperwork and computer entry is accurate




RESPONSIBILITIES:



+ Maintain production line efficiency, quality, cleanliness and safety


+ Maintain all appropriate paperwork


+ Provide training for Cell Operators


+ Lead efforts at continuous process improvement


+ Trouble-shoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, using the help chain if necessary


+ Continuous repetitive assembling of valves and/or sub parts




+ Follow prescribed A.T.I.'s (Assemble test instructions) in order to maintain excellent quality standards


+ Test and package valves and valve components


+ Completion of recaps, production records, and quality control documents


+ Perform routine housekeeping to ensure area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards


+ Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and abide by safety rules


+ Must report any job related injury and/or illness immediately to your direct supervisor


+ Other duties as may be assigned.



EDUCATION


High School Diploma or GED




QUALIFICATIONS



+ Previous assembly experience preferred


+ Strong manual dexterity skills


+ Detailed oriented.





MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON:



+ Ensure company policies are followed


+ Enforce company safety policies


+ Responsible for Cell Operators in the specific Assembly Cell





*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds alone, 80 lbs. with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
