Maintenance Supervisor











As the Maintenance Supervisor or our Ridge Campus you oversee the day to day operations of the maintenance and security departments to ensure smooth operation of all building infrastructure systems, safety, and security. This person will carry out supervisory responsibility in accordance with business policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; assisting and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:






+ Snow removal


+ Monitor, coordinate and participate in shift schedules to ensure 24 hour coverage for designated campuses to include participation in maintenance on call rotation


+ Maintenance on call coverage once every 8 weeks


+ Assist in oversight of payroll for hourly maintenance and security personnel


+ Oversight of department work order system


+ Oversight of preventative maintenance program


+ Respond to all emergencies including medical alert calls


+ Schedule, monitor and coordinate outside vendors for contracted work and internal services to include but not limited to apartment refurbishments, general facility upkeep and renovations.


+ Maintaining budgets and finance reports

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED





Familiarity with PC and Mac computers and electronic devices is required. Strong computer skills must include MS Office (Wood/Excel/Outlook), Smart Sheet or other CMMS program; IPad, Smart Phone, @-Way radios.





Facilities Certification is preferred, however it is not required. 3-5 years' experience at a supervisory level is preferred. Internal Candidates should have completed RWE Business Management Program. Experience as MOC strongly preferred. HS Diploma and 2-year certificate or equivalent years of industry service.
